TopSpot Makes the Inc. 5000 List for 7th Time

On August 17th, Inc. magazine today ranked TopSpot Internet Marketing on its 35th annual Inc. 5000. This is TopSpot’s 7th appearance on the Inc. 5000 list, ranking #4061 with a three-year sales growth of 71%. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment— its small independent businesses. Companies such as Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees of the Inc. 5000.

When asked about the driving force behind TopSpot’s ongoing growth, Company President Dave Underwood commented that our team was the key:

“We have always focused on new business but we put just as much effort intoattracting and hiring new team members.  We are service based business and in order to be great, you have to focus on hiring and developin great people.  We expect it and our customers expect.  Our team is how we can differentiate ourselves.”

The average company on the 2016 Inc. 5000 list, achieved a staggering three year growth of 433%. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue is $200 billion, and the companies on the list collectively generated 640,000 jobs over the past three years. More about the Inc. 5000 Methodology: The 2016 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2012 to 2015. Companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2012, to qualify. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2015. Companies on the Inc. 500 are featured in Inc.’s September issue.
