Better Business Bureau Recognizes TopSpot as a 2020 Winner of Distinction

Each year the Better Business Bureau recognizes businesses and nonprofits for their achievements and commitment to quality in the workplace. This year, TopSpot Internet Marketing was selected as one of the companies recognized at the Better Business Bureau Awards for Excellence. This is the seventh year in a row that TopSpot has been recognized by the BBB for service excellence. 

This award highlights our commitment to customer service and gives consumers greater confidence in choosing TopSpot for their search marketing and website development needs. 

The 2020 application process consisted of twelve essay questions regarding business operations, client relationships and our involvement within the local Houston community. 

When asked about our involvement in community service, we pointed out the following:

Community is an important focus of our executive team. It is through their example that the rest of the company is inspired to spread the joy of giving outside of the walls of TopSpot.

With the organization of our Community Service Committee, we contributed to the Houston community throughout the year in the following ways: 

• Participating in the Houston Rodeo Run 
• Volunteering with the 113th Boys & Girls Club National Conference
• Collecting 11,340 lbs of food for the Houston Food Bank to feed local senior citizens 
• Participating in the Pull for Puppies, a dog walk to raise money for Friends for Life Pet Shelter 
• For the second year, TopSpot hosted kids from Breakthrough Houston for a career day at our offices to educate them about the search marketing industry
• Held a donation drive for CAP (Citizens for Animal Protection), where we collected food, toys, bedding, and cleaning supplies 
• Sponsored all 130 students in the 5th-grade class at Johnson Elementary School, in partnership with the Scholastic Book Program 
• TopSpot’s Run Club participated in the St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer 
• This year’s annual fundraising kickball tournament raised money for Texas Children’s Hospital

• At Thanksgiving, TopSpot donated over 13,000 cans of food to the Houston Food Bank, far surpassing the previous year’s record of 3,100!
• Collected toys to donate to the Houston Fire Department’s annual toy drive, Operation Stocking Stuffer 
• Even on a less formal level, our Team Members are supportive of one another’s efforts. During the Chevron Marathon, we had three Team Members participate. But TopSpot didn’t just wish them well – several additional Team Members attended the race to cheer on the participants, carrying signs signed by the Team Members wishing them luck. 

We are honored to be recognized by the Better Business Bureau, an important part of any online reputation strategy. 

About the Better Business Bureau Awards of Excellence – The BBB Awards of Excellence is held yearly to benefit the Better Business Bureau Education Foundation, which is a charitable nonprofit organization that informs, educates and advocates on behalf of consumers. It also helps to combat unethical business practices and provides protection from fraudulent schemes.
