TopSpot Recognized in 2016 MobileWebAwards Competition

TopSpot Internet Marketing is pleased to announce their achievements in the 2016 MobileWebAwards Competition from the Web Marketing Association. Now in its 5^th year, the MobileWebAwards were developed the Web Marketing Association to honor the advertising industry’s best mobile websites, responsive websites and mobile apps.

As Internet traffic from mobile devices is set to overtake desktop devices, it is becoming more critical than ever to have an effective online presence tailored to mobile devices.” said William Rice, president of the Web Marketing Association.  “The goal of the MobileWebAwards is to both recognize the people and organizations responsible for developing some of the most effective mobile Web sites and mobile apps on the Internet. Whether a responsive website, mobile-specific website or a mobile app, our expert judges will select the best offerings in 96 industries.”

Entries were judged on the following criteria and competed head-to-head with other entries within their specific category.

• • Impact

• • Design

• • Content

• • Interactivity

• • Ease of Use

• Use of the medium

Once judging has commenced, MobileWebAwards were granted at two levels for each of the categories. Sites that receive the highest average score from the judges within a given industry category are awarded a “Best of Industry” MobileWebAward. Remaining sites were then judged against a standard of overall excellence and quality for either an Outstanding Mobile Website or Outstanding Mobile Application MobileWebAward based upon the total score given to the entry by the judges.

TopSpot was also recognized with the Outstanding Mobile Interactive Developer Award for our success in this year’s competition.

In addition to the MobileWebAwards, TopSpot is an annual participant in the IAC Awards and WebAwards, which are also produced by the Web Marketing Association. This year, TopSpot Internet Marketing has won a total of 13 awards from the Web Marketing Association awards programs.

About the MobileWebAwards – The Web Marketing Association is the producer of the MobileWebAwards Competition. For 20 years, the Web Marketing Association has produced the annual WebAward Competition. The MobileWebAwards were created 5 years ago when the WebAward judged chose to split out the mobile sites into a separate competition in order to recognize the explosive growth and creativity in this space.
