TopSpot Takes Home Gold and Silver at the 2020 W3 Awards
TopSpot is incredibly excited to announce that three of our websites placed at the 2020 w3 Awards. This is the 4th year in a row that our Team has received an award in the Manufacturing Website Category.
The w3 Awards honor creative excellence for the best of the Web in several divisions including websites, online video, marketing programs and more. It is sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA). This year, over 3,000 entries were received from various agencies of all sizes.
Introducing Our 2020 w3 Award Winning Websites:
Steel Warehouse – Gold Award-Winning Manufacturing Website
Steel Warehouse is a family-owned supplier of premier steel coil with distribution, shipping, and processing capabilities. When they came to TopSpot, they wanted to boost their web presence with a responsive website that provided users with information regarding their company and products and created a great user experience.
For example, when visiting the new homepage, users are able to immediately dive into the site to find what they are looking for, regardless of where they are in the customer journey. With the creation of the drop-down button in the main banner image, website visitors can select the material they need by Specification, Type or OEM.

DimcoGray – Silver Award-Winning Manufacturing Website
DimcoGray is a widely recognized supplier of OEM-compliant knobs and handles who turned to their current digital marketing supplier, TopSpot, when it came time to develop a new website with catalog integration.
TopSpot created a user-friendly website that appealed to the wide variety of industries they served. This included emphasizing DimcoGray’s knobs, handles and custom molds by featuring them in the main navigation and using custom photography throughout the website. At the bottom of every product category page, the website references their ability to manufacture custom plastic knobs and handles along with their stock catalog and a mention to their commitment to quality.
DimcoGray has also been recognized this year with a WebAward and Gold Stevie Award in the Manufacturing Website Category.
mr alex TATE – Silver Award-Winning Website for Architecture and Design
mr alex TATE, an interior design studio, came to TopSpot wanting a website that would cause them to stand out from a crowded market. It needed to be clean, convey a sense of style include vivid imagery while also being user (and search engine) friendly.
One of the most visited pages on the new website is the portfolio page, which showcases the interior design projects produced by mr alex TATE in a way that makes it easy for website visitors to view and choose the style and aesthetics they favor.
The portfolio page (shown above) is also laid out to allow visitors the opportunity to peruse the different types of spaces the design studio specializes in.
This is the fifth year in a row that our Team has been recognized with w3 Awards and the fourth year in a row we’ve been recipients of awards in the Manufacturing Website Category. You can view more of our award-winning website designs in our website portfolio.

Entries are scored on a ten-point scale by the judges, and to uphold a high standard of excellence, a category may have multiple winners or no winners at all.
