TopSpot Gives Back Big in December
This past December, TopSpot came together in several ways to give back to our community. Each month, we do something different to help our neighborhoods and those in need.
Annual Kickball Tournament
We were excited to bring back our annual TopSpot Kickball Tournament. Started in 2013, this tournament raises money for a good cause each year. Due to weather conditions, the game itself was delayed until December. This year, we raised over $2,000, which was donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters Houston.
TopSpotters created teams that celebrate our love of manufacturing with names such as “Manufacturing Runs”, “Run CNC”, “PEEK Performers”, and “The Riveting Rubber Lovers”.
December Volunteer Day
TopSpotters gathered in the office to help wrap gifts for the three families we adopted through the Star of Hope’s Adopt a Family program. TopSpotters gathered to put their artistic skills to use by wrapping presents for each of the members of the families adopted.
We also gathered supplies to create toiletry bags to donate to the patients at St. Joseph House. Items such as toothbrushes, deodorants, lip balm, and body wash were gathered and sorted by many volunteers. Nearly 100 bags were stuffed full of necessities – a large undertaking made easier with so many enthusiastic Team Members.
Operation Stocking Stuffer Toy Drive
Every December, we collect toys for the Houston Fire Department’s Operation Stocking Stuffer program. Team members and guests at the 2021 Holiday Party donated toys and games for underprivileged children.
We are looking for new Team members. Want to join a Team like ours?
