Working Together in Hope

The TopSpot Community Service committee works on several projects each month to better help our community. This month, one of the groups we worked with is Together in Hope.

“Together in Hope’s mission is to empower those living in poverty in the Philippines to improve their lives through education, nutrition, community organizing. Together in Hope envisions a world where all children have enough to eat, can go to school, are free from human trafficking, have access to quality health care, and where all parents can find jobs and provide for their families. Together in Hope believes that if we all work together, in hope, each doing what we can, we can make that vision a reality and give those living in poverty a future with hope.”

During Orientation Week, our new hires helped stuff bags with essentials including summer staples such as sunscreen, sunglasses, reusable water bottles, and more.

Because “Summer is long when you are hungry,” we teamed up with Kids Meals Inc. to collect juice boxes as part of the Summer Juice Box Challenge. For TopSpot, the challenge began in mid-June.

So far, Team Blueberry is ahead with nearly 300 boxes of juice. But a lot can happen between now and July 15th, when we will declare a winning team. TopSpot is also contributing cases of juice on behalf of each juice box team.
