TopSpot is honored to have won three awards at the 2020 dotCOMM Awards, an international competition that recognizes the best in web creativity and digital communication and is administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication.

This year, the dotCOMM Awards received approximately 2,000 entries from around the world in a variety of businesses ranging from corporate communication departments to digital agencies. Historically, about 13 percent of entries win Platinum Awards, and an additional 13 percent are recognized with a Gold Award. This year, TopSpot was recognized with a Platinum Award in the Professional Services Website Category and Gold Awards in the B2B Website Category and B2C Website Category.

When they came to TopSpot in early 2019, they wanted an updated design with quote cart integration that would drive leads & new business opportunities. As a diverse company with a range of products for sale and a large rental component, the website needed to be robust and include a strong post-launch SEO program. 

The site launched on May 12, 2020. Within the first 30 days, organic traffic increased by 16.61% (1955 from 1680). Online leads from organic traffic increased by 79.49% (70 from 39) in the same time period!

The Shade Shop recognized they were in a competitive market and in order to improve their online presence, they knew they needed a new website that was responsive and user-friendly and supported by a strong digital marketing program. As a client of TopSpot’s since 2015, they trusted our Team with this project.

Launched March 10, 2020 just as the pandemic was impacting US businesses, The Shade Shop has seen incredible growth in traffic and leads. In the three months post-launch, traffic has increased 88.61% (12267 from 6504) over the previous period, and online leads are up by 125.56% (300 from 133) in the same time period. 

These award-winning websites are great examples of the Client/Team collaboration we strive for with every website development project. We are always honored when a business gives us the opportunity to work with them, and are thrilled when that work is recognized within our industry.

The fact that these websites launched prior to or during the COVID-19 crisis and are performing at the level they currently are shows what a great job everyone involved in the planning, creation, design, and delivery of these websites did!
