TopSpot Wins 5 Awards in the 2018 dotCOMM Awards
TopSpot is pleased to announce its recognition in the 2018 International dotCOMM Awards honoring excellence in web creativity and digital communication. This year, TopSpot won a total of 5 awards including Platinum Awards in the Health & Wellness and B2C Website categories and Gold Awards in the Manufacturing and B2B Website Categories.
There were over 2,000 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and 12 other countries in the dotCOMM Awards 2018 Competition. Entries came from corporate marketing and communication departments, digital shops, advertising agencies, PR firms, production companies, and freelancers. Of the 2,000+ entries from throughout the United States and many other countries, about 14% were awarded Platinum Awards and 15% were given Gold. Another 5% were recognized with Honorable Mentions.

Cason Graye Homes – Platinum Award Winning B2C Website
Cason Graye Homes is a custom home builder that has been exceeding expectations of its Houston clientele since 2004. When they came to TopSpot, they were in need of a website that reflected their brand and home building style. They also wanted to grow their organic presence for Houston and its surrounding neighborhoods.
The TopSpot team created a website architecture with SEO serving as the foundation and a clean, professional design that provided multiple conversion opportunities throughout each page while promoting their brand, team members, and experience.
Since the launch of Cason Graye’s responsive website in March 2018, their traffic from mobile and tablet devices has increased by 24.74% which resulted in a 600% increase in mobile and tablet-driven form submissions. The Cason Graye Homes website has also seen a 266.67% increase in overall form submissions throughout the last four months as well as a 39.71% increase in organic traffic.
Blades Wellness – Platinum Award Winning Health & Wellness Website
Blades Wellness is a Houston wellness & aesthetics practice that specializes in bio-identical hormone replacement therapy for men and women. Prior to launching their new website with TopSpot, the Blades Wellness site was only one page and provided minimal content related to the symptoms related to hormone loss, or the treatments Dr. Carrie Blades provided to combat those issues.
The TopSpot team set out to build a responsive website that gave Dr. Blades the online presence she needed to grow her local business. This was accomplished by creating service & treatment pages and creating a user-friendly design that included multiple points of contact for its visitors.
Since launching the website at the end of March 2018, the local business has received over 130 form submissions and 300+ website driven phone calls. The site has also had over 4,000 total visits with 64% of those visits coming from their Paid Search & SEO programs.
Albin Pump USA – Gold Award Winning Manufacturing Website
Albin Pump is a leading manufacturer of Peristaltic Hose Pumps servicing the entire United States and Canada from their home base in Loveland, Ohio. Albin’s Peristaltic Hose Pumps are used for many different and unique applications and supplied to distributors, representatives, OEMs and end users.
TopSpot created a website design that highlighted not only their products but also the types of applications they could be used for. This was done by incorporating a video into the homepage banner showcasing their pumps in use with a call to action to view their applications. An application finder was also featured on the homepage and related applications were included on each of the main product landing pages.
The responsive website launched in December 2017. When comparing the first seven months of 2018 to the first seven months of 2017, organic traffic has increased by 24.49% thanks to Albin Pump’s new website. Albin Pump’s application pages have also had over 700 Pageviews from the homepage thanks to the call to action included in the homepage banner and the site’s application finder.
Peloton – Gold Award Winning B2B Website
Peloton is a provider of well data and drilling software to small, mid-size, and large oil and gas operators across the world. The objective of the new site was to represent their brand as the global leader they are while showcasing their products and various locations across the world. They were also looking for a website that not only drove visitors searching for their products by name but also new visitors in need of a solution that Peloton’s software could provide.

Prior to launching their new site, Peloton averaged 26.7 form submissions per month. Since launch, the business now receives an average of 78.25 form submissions per month, a 193.07% increase in average monthly form submissions. Their mobile & tablet form conversion rate has increased also by 297.70%.
American Vacuum – Gold Award Winning Manufacturing Website
Since 1910, American Vacuum Company has manufactured a complete line of industrial vacuum cleaners, to meet the needs of the ever-growing industrial vacuum industry. When they noticed their mobile website metrics beginning to decline, they decided it was time to move forward with a responsive website to capture some of the opportunities they were potentially missing.
